SUMMARY:

As an Electrician, you will play a pivotal role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components that are crucial to our production processes. You will work in a fast-paced environment where precision and adherence to safety protocols are paramount. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and instrumentation. You will collaborate with leadership and production teams to ensure that electrical equipment operates efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall productivity of our manufacturing operations. With a focus on quality and safety, you will adhere to all regulations and standards while diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues. You will also be responsible for keeping detailed records of maintenance activities and collaborating with other electricians and technicians on large projects. We are looking for a proactive individual who is not only technically proficient but also a team player, capable of communicating effectively and ensuring that our electrical systems contribute to our overall success.

What we are looking for: 

Someone who can set their own pace, work in a team environment, and build productive relationships by solving problems. Experience in manufacturing or steel industry is a plus, but we are willing to train someone with relatable skills. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  •  Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in manufacturing facilities.
  • Diagnose electrical issues and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Monitor electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement electrical systems for new projects.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical components and systems to identify potential issues.
  • Provide support and mentorship to junior electricians and apprentices as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma preferred, and related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and be willing and able to operate a motor vehicle and pass a company drug screen.
