SUMMARY:
This position involves preparing materials, assisting in production
operations, and ensuring the quality and precision of finished steel mesh rolls
and panels. The Welder Helper will be responsible for setting up equipment,
handling raw materials, monitoring the welding process, and assisting in the
inspection and finishing of the product. The ideal candidate will have a basic
understanding of production techniques, a strong attention to detail, and the
ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, safety-conscious manufacturing
environment.

What we are looking for:
Someone who can set their own pace, work in a team environment, and build
productive relationships by solving problems. Experience in manufacturing or steel
industry is a plus, but we are willing to train someone with relatable
skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
· Assist welders in the preparation,
alignment, and assembly of steel panels according to design specifications.
· Monitor the welding process to ensure
that panels are fabricated accurately and to specification.
· Perform basic welding tasks such as
tack welding, spot welding, and basic joint assemblies under the supervision of
skilled operators.
· Inspect finished steel panels for
defects or irregularities, ensuring they meet quality standards.
· Assist in the finishing process,
including cleaning, grinding, or polishing the steel panels as required.
· Maintain a clean and organized work
environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and
maintained.
· Adhere to safety protocols, wearing
appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following all company
safety guidelines.
· Help load, unload, and move materials
or finished panels as needed throughout the production process.
· Work closely with other production
team members to ensure deadlines and production targets are met.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School
Diploma preferred, and related experience or equivalent combination of
education and experience. Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and be
willing and able to operate a motor vehicle and pass a company drug
screen.
