This position requires an individual who is dedicated to maintaining safety standards, producing high-quality steel products, and meeting production targets. The employee will be involved in various tasks, including the operation of machines, assembly, quality control, and general maintenance of equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to ensuring the seamless flow of production.

What we are looking for: 

Someone who can set their own pace, work in a team environment, and build productive relationships by solving problems. Experience in manufacturing or steel industry is a plus, but we are willing to train someone with relatable skills. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

· Operate and monitor production equipment, ensuring machines run smoothly and efficiently.

· Assist in the production of steel products, including rolling, casting, and shaping materials as needed.

· Perform quality checks on materials and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.

· Maintain a clean and organized work environment by following safety protocols and company policies.

· Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor or maintenance team promptly.

· Assist in the setup and breakdown of production lines and equipment as necessary.

· Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.

· Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Additional Duties as assigned by the corporate management team

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma preferred, and related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and be willing and able to operate a motor vehicle and pass a company drug screen.
